Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Created by the director of such classics as 'A Woman, a Gun, and a Noodle Shop', and staged right under the spectacular Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Impression Lijiang is an outdoor performance involving over 500 local ethnic Naxi, Bai, and Yi people.
Unfortunately we chose a real shitty day to go.
Despite cloud cover blocking the mountain view, the show itself was almost as entertaining as the heats of Gozzy Rock 2006.
A great way to reduce cost is to force the sacred performers to clean up. Emma took the time to have a photo with one such performer/cleaner.
After the show, we took a cable car up the mountain to Glacier Park, elevation 4,500m. The summit at 5,956m has has been climbed only once because, according to the guy that climbed it, "it is extremely dangerous".
With further ascent, Emma began to understand why most of the crowd were using oxygen canisters...
...whilst Brad began to understand why the weak should be left behind...
Tiger Leaping Gorge
Located between Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and some other mountain, Tiger Leaping Gorge on the Yangtze River is the world's deepest river canyon. Legend has it that a tiger leapt across the the gorge to escape a hunter. As impressive as this seems, each robot lion from Voltron has achieved the same feat.

Many have died trying to raft the perilous rapids.
This was our guide. He was a dick.
